Well, the feeling in recent months is that every day we get closer and closer to that futuristic technological development full of innovation, improvements and possibilities that just a handful of years ago we could only imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#039;s chat about the world of robotics, focusing on an exciting new development: <strong>FIGURE 02<\/strong>, the latest evolution in humanoid robots created by the company <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.figure.ai\/\">Figure Robot<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This robot has captured the attention of the technology community\u2014and with good reason\u2014for its impressive design and advanced capabilities. <strong>But what makes FIGURE 02 so special?<\/strong> In this article, I will explore with you its key features and how it can help us in the robotics industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-anuncio-anticipado\">An early announcement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The expectation for <strong>FIGURE 02<\/strong> It began with a previous announcement that the company launched on August 3 as a trailer <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Figure 02 Trailer\" width=\"1387\" height=\"780\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FZbY9sReu1k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This announcement \u2014which was a preview of the official presentation\u2014<\/strong>, revealed what the robot would later look like on August 6, a date that many were eagerly awaiting. Let&#039;s see what they have finally presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-empresa-detras-del-robot-figure-robot\">The company behind the robot: Figure Robot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#039;s first talk about the creators of this humanoid. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.figure.ai\/\">Figure Robot<\/a><\/strong> was founded in 2022 with an ambitious goal: <strong>develop humanoid robots that can serve as platforms for artificial general intelligence (AGI)<\/strong> which is expected to revolutionize the next decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its founding, the company has worked closely with artificial intelligence labs, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/\">OpenAI<\/a><\/strong>, to integrate cutting-edge technology into their robots. In fact, they already counted on them as allies in their FIGURE 01 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-colaboracion-con-openai\">Collaboration with OpenAI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most impressive demonstrations this year has been the collaboration of <strong>Figure Robot<\/strong> with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/\">OpenAI<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eltecnologuia.com\/en\/gpt-4o-everything-you-need-to-know-and-how-to-use-it-for-free\/\">using GPT-4o multimodal technology<\/a><\/strong>, a system capable of listening, seeing and executing actions based on instructions it receives from humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This integration has allowed Figure\u2019s robots to gain impressive skills, such as the ability to identify objects and perform fluid actions, all thanks to the powerful artificial intelligence that drives their systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-el-primer-modelo-figure-01\">The first model: Figure 01<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we delve into the improvements of <strong>FIGURE 02<\/strong>, it is important to talk about its predecessor, <strong>Figure 01<\/strong>. This robot, although impressive<strong>, had certain limitations that made it less viable as a final product.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The design was much less careful, very exposed and fragile, which made it unviable for everyday use and limited its applicability in real environments. However, <strong>FIGURE 02<\/strong> has addressed and overcome these limitations in significant ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-figure-02-un-diseno-mejorado\">FIGURE 02: An improved design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-diseno-compacto-y-robusto\">Compact and robust design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FIGURE 02 presents a much more compact and robust design<\/strong> compared to its predecessor. <strong>The internal complexity of the robot is now better integrated<\/strong>, making it more durable and suitable for practical use. The future of humanoid robotics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FIGURE 02 represents a major step forward in humanoid robotics,<\/strong> integrating advanced artificial intelligence and improved design that makes it more viable for industrial applications. However, there are still challenges to overcome, <strong>especially in terms of locomotion and general adaptability to previously untrained tasks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is clear that we are entering a decade where robotics, driven by advances in artificial intelligence, will play a crucial role in various industries.<\/strong> While there is still a long way to go before we see
