Imagine being able to convert any text, PDF or even web page into an audiobook with professional narration, choosing the most suitable type of voice and also completely free and downloadable… Well, this is what ElevenLabs brings us today.
There is not much that can be said about ElevenLabs that is not already known, but in summary I can say without any doubt that for some time now They are the best voices of artificial intelligence that are currently on the market.
I use it often in some of my projects and, especially when it comes to the Spanish language, there is no other company that can meet its quality standards, or even come close to its level.

How to use Eleven Labs Reader
The first thing that will appear once we have registered is the Home page, where we can see some of the books that come by default—all in English—and those that we have already added to the library.
If you click on the «+» button a tab will open like the one I show you below:
As you can see, through the Import option You can write any text you want, add a link to a website, import files (I have tried PDF) or even scan, which I find incredible for travelling and knowing how to pronounce certain phrases.
Before you start listening to your audiobook, remember to choose the voices in the sound waves button which is at the bottom and is marked in the image with the text VOICES. Here you will see the most popular or used voices.
In the settings button at the top right you can choose the type of voice, from the language (there are many) to the type of narration, whether it is male or female and even the age of the narrator. Impressive…
Once you import the text and choose the voice you want the application to read, All you have to do is select the book, text or URL and let it start talking. It's really a significant advancement in the world of audiobooks.
The implications for audiobook narrators
