We finally see the "Rabbit Hole", the base platform of the Rabbit R1

It has been a long time coming, but we can finally see the "Burrow" in operation, Rabbit's system to interact with the gadget

Yesterday in Discord, Jesse Lyu, ideologue and father of the Rabbit R1, delighted us with some videos of the device's operation, and in them we were finally able to see what the company calls "Rabbit Hole«, which as we know will be the base platform to store everything we do with the R1.

In the video we could see how he opens a almost instantaneous voice memo mode —I've actually been amazed at how quickly—it can record the voice of whatever you're listening to, which can be useful on countless occasions.

But of course, we already have voice notes. What makes this case special? Well, precisely how the "rabbit" relates to its Burrow, and that is that the voice note is not saved in R1, but goes much further.

What we are shown is a minimalist gray screen with the word "Journal" written along with the month. This is an assumption on my part, but I understand that It will save what we do with R1 in the form of «diary«. On the same screen a message appears that says "Tu Rabbit is 0 years old and has been with you for 2 days«. The truth is that it gives a dimension to the device that opens the possibility of even loving it.

The »Diary» of our Rabbit R1

Returning to the topic of the note, on the left side what appear to be other voice tests appear, and selected, the recording you just made with its sound wave, date and time. But the most striking thing is nothing of what we have seen and that for the first time went unnoticed by me.

Right at the bottom you can see the perfect transcription of everything you have heard, implying that you will be able to convert everything you hear into written format, and taking into account the number of languages with which it will be compatible, we can see that the translation options are getting closer.

Furthermore, as seen in the video, apart from the transcription, it makes a summary, so that can summarize the most important aspects, opening up a huge range of possibilities when it comes to taking notes.

Little by little they are releasing more small demos, and this Friday we will be able to see Jesse Lyu in the MKBHD studio, the famous technology YouTuber showing the new features of the R1 and, apparently, using it for the first time in public. Hopefully it will be like that.
