Rabbit R1 Demos: What does it do so far?

The demo videos that we can see on the different channels show what the Rabbit R1 is and how far it has gone so far.

Every day I pass by the Rabbit R1 Discord and the first thing I do is go to the Video-Demo section to see if they have put up a new demo to enjoy any new functionality that I haven't seen.

In the barely two months that I have been following the Rabbit R1, I have missed more real interactions, which have arrived so far only through Jesse Lyu, and they have even been involved in controversy on some occasions..

However, even if we want more, the demos of the Rabbit R1 that we have make us give free rein to our imagination and observe with enthusiasm not only the present of the gadget, but the future that awaits once fully develop the Teach Mode or Teaching Mode.

Without further ado, I'm going to show you some of the most striking demos of this long-awaited device.

The Rabbit R1's "Vision Mode"

Of course we start with one of the specifications that I most expect, and it is none other than Vision Mode, which allows everything from "reading" and translating to identifying objects, defining them and developing actions regarding them.

Perhaps one of the demos that impacted me the most was one in which They play chess simply by watching the game screen. Really wonderful if we run out of ideas before a move—don't cheat, eh?—

Playing Doom on the Rabbit R1

Okay, I know it's a bit for laughs, but when I saw that they had uploaded a video of Rabbit R1 playing Doom, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic and proud. The MEME became a reality and we were able to cross something as important as this off the list —wink, wink—

The possibility of adding a keyboard

It was already said at the time that the Rabbit R1 would be compatible with keyboards, but it was not until recently where we were finally able to verify that it was indeed going to be as simple as plugging it in and starting to write. I'm looking forward to seeing if you create any specific ones.

In the video below Jesse Lyu types directly with a desktop keyboard.

The mechanics of the R1: Its camera

In these demos of the Rabbit R1 they show the camera, its operation and how it rotates depending on whether we want to use the forward or rear view mode.

The user interface for the first time

And to finish I want to leave a video showing the user interface, which we had not seen before and in which we can see the different adjustment options. Beautiful, elegant and minimalist.

In just 10 days they start shipping the Rabbit R1, so I look forward to the internet being filled with new videos and reviews of the Rabbit R1 that we can all enjoy.
