This same morning—afternoon-night in the USA—a meeting took place with the first buyers of the Rabbit R1 through Discord voice chat where Lyu and part of the team answered different questions from the public.

Fortunately, for those of us who were unable to attend, There have been a couple of users who have compiled the most important questions and answers so we can get an idea of where the project is progressing. Without further ado, I leave you what we know so far.

1- Perfect setup

It seems that the initial configuration of the Rabbit R1 can be done by scanning a QR code through the Rabbit Hole app itself from a PC. It will be as simple as scanning it from the device and that's it. To work.

2- Intuitive User Interface

They have extremely polished the Rabbit R1 interface so that the user experience is the best possible. From the scrolling via analog scroll until the incorporation of the actions highlighted in orange. With the action button we can select those actions.

3- Communication between R1's

We can connect with other R1 users by scanning their QR code, and we can use the PTT button—press to talk—to record and send short video messages, or engage in asynchronous video message exchanges, similar to a walkie-talkie experience.

4. Smart notifications

We will have notifications from our favorite applications. While day one app support is growing, we will see notifications as intriguing question or exclamation marks, which invite you to reveal the message with a simple scroll, reminiscent of interacting with an NPC in a video game.

5. Universal SIM support

The R1 does not limit us with an eSIM. Instead, supports any micro SIM, which will give us the possibility of using any card from any company to be able to use it. We already saw that in this video:

6. Battery life

One of the doubts that most worried us about the R1 was precisely its battery life. It seems it is designed to last around 3 days with normal use. In case of intensive use, like any mobile phone, it will have to be charged once a day.

7. Google Contacts Integration

First confirmation of compatibility. We can import our Google contact list effortlessly. While the R1 is optimized for device-to-device communication, it ensures our contacts are just a tap away.

8. Ready for navigation with Maps

This is another of the integrations that will come from the beginning, and that is that step-by-step navigation with Google Maps is integrated and we can use it directly from R1. We will have to see how it integrates with your screen.

9. Innovative packaging

One of the most recurring "jokes" on Discord was whether the packaging had anything special, and boy does it have. It seems that R1's packaging cleverly functions as a stand, adding functionality even after unpacking. It will be cassette type.

10. No subscription fees

They confirm it to us even though we already knew it. At Rabbit they are committed to providing value without hidden costs. HE They reaffirm that there are no subscription fees for the R1, ensuring the experience is premium and affordable.

11. Promise kept from day one

The R1 will offer all the features presented in its main presentation from day one, so nothing of what we saw will be coming except the Rabbit Hole will open to the public after shipping, although in the case of Europe the devices will not arrive until July or August, so they will take some time to be available.

12. gSuite Compatibility

It seems that compatibility with the most productive part of Google is fully confirmed, which is excellent news. The R1 Interacts seamlessly with the entire gSuite, improving productivity and collaboration.

13. Teaching mode

This is perhaps the biggest reason why I will buy the R1 and it is the possibility of teaching it to interact with the apps and websites it wants. It will possibly be in June 2024 when this teaching mode is available.
