The day has come! Although we have had to wait several months since the presentation, the shipment of the Rabbit r1 is now a reality
March 31, 2024. That was the day Jesse Lyu, CEO of Rabbit Inc.. marked on the calendar with a red X – or maybe it was leuchtorange— as a time to launch from the factory and make the shipment of the rabbit r1.
Why choose 03/31 to ship the Rabbit r1
You may think that it is a random date, but nothing could be further from the truth, and it seems that in this company they do not stitch without thread. Today they uploaded the following Tweet to their X account:
Just 25 years ago today, one of the best science fiction films in history was released: "The Matrix", and that is where they make a reference to "White Rabbit" from Alice in Wonderland, and of course, by extension to our favorite white rabbit: The Rabbit r1.
I think it's a brilliant gesture on the part of the Rabbit team, since they coincided the shipment with the premiere of this film, knowing how representative that moment is and that it was going to delight all those like me who experienced it in their adolescence.

What is promised is a debt: Easter 2024
And when is the shipping to Spain?
Well, as I commented among others in this entry, the shipment of the Rabbit r1 to Spain will be like in the rest of Europe between June and July of this 2024, implying that before the end of the summer we will have all the devices ordered among the first 6 batches.
We will have to wait, but in the meantime, let's enjoy the wait...
