And they continue, and they better continue. After discontent on the networks of some users —especially on the Rabbit r1 Reddit— the company is back with new improvements, fixes and news to try to polish the gadget increasingly.

Simon's first words are as follows:

We want to share some exciting numbers: from the almost 10,000 R1 devices that are currently in the hands of users, more than 459,000 interactions were generated in the last two weeks.

We always welcome feedback from our community of active users. As more people continue to use the R1, the experience will only get better.

In this way, the person in charge of the networks encourages all Rabbit r1 users to share feedback, especially in the Community Discord so that they can continue to improve day by day and show that it is truly worth it.

What's new in the latest version of Rabbit R1?

R1 Device / Rabbit OS

☀️ Improved answers to questions climate related

📹 Greater precision in reading QR codes for device configuration. It seems that some units were failing to read the QR code, necessary to begin the initial configuration of the device.

📍 More precise geolocation when the GPS signal is weak. There have been complaints that the Rabbit was unable to give concrete directions to the location. Hopefully this will solve that specific problem.

⌨️ Added more characters on the keyboard. I hope they added the “%” symbol as it was not there and was necessary – although I would never have imagined it – so that some users could enter their WiFi password. Unheard of.

⌨️ Greater keyboard sensitivity. It was said that it could be a little rough, which added to its small size made it a little uncomfortable to use.

🕒 Minor clock and battery display fixes. I don't know what you are referring to, but I understand that it has to do with the main screen.

🎧 Improved Bluetooth music playback. I also have no reports of Bluetooth usage.

🗣️ Increased contextual awareness for voice notes. These points are not important. We expect the LLM to be amazing, but any improvements that may be made to fine-tune the contexts will make the device gain confidence.

THE M

🚖 Improved Uber experience with additional driver information and more frequent status updates. Many users complained about Uber's UI so it's a good place to start improving trained applications.

🎶 Minor bug fixes in Spotify. Maybe you were hoping for a bigger update to the music app, or maybe it works better than we've been led to believe. We'll see when I have it at home and can try it for myself.

🍔 DoorDash improvements and bug fixes. There was also a request to improve this app. It gave errors, it didn't let you choose a menu and sometimes the confirmation didn't appear. Let's see how it behaves from now on.

What they have fixed thanks to community comments

🪇 Shake to return to the home screen from the main settings. The people have been heard and in this way, just as you enter the configuration by shaking the Rabbit r1, you can exit the menu in the same way.

🌐 Better connections to phone hotspots and various mesh WiFi routers. They correct hotspots and the inability to connect to the phone. There are already some users who have stopped having problems.

🧑‍💻 Fixes and improvements in terminal mode
🪲 Bug fixes in Rabbithole journal
👁️ Better visual feedback on login expiration for LAM features

As we see, in a week they have made another update, and most importantly, paying attention to some of the users' requests. They continue step by step improving their device with the small team. We remain expectant in the following weeks.
